Saankhya Labs: How to build a successful semiconductor startup in India

In a podcast with Amit Somani, Parag Naik talked about the important thing when starting a business in tech is the ability to look 10 years into the future and predict what could potentially happen. Parag spoke about the initial struggles of operating a Semiconductor company in India with no ecosystem support. The trick to building a successful semiconductor company, which is a highly competitive space with giants like Intel and Qualcomm, according to Parag is to focus on spaces where these companies are not operating. Since it isn’t possible to build everything in-house, Parag suggests that the current fledgling Semiconductor ecosystem of India should try to collaborate while competing with each other, as a good solution to turn India’s semiconductor ecosystem into a thriving one.
